Managing contacts

Contacts are the customer records owned by an account. A contact can have email and phone details, identities from connected services, a wallet, balances, and redemption history.

Find a contact

Use the search field on the Contacts page to narrow the list. Open a contact to review their profile, connected identities, wallet balances, credit entries, and redemption codes.

External identities, such as Shopify or Klaviyo identifiers, explain how the ValueMapper contact maps to a customer in another system. They are not separate contacts.

Create or edit a contact

  1. Select Create contact or edit an existing contact.
  2. Enter the available name, email, and phone information.
  3. Add external identity values only when they refer to the same person in the connected system.
  4. Save and review the contact detail page.

Use a consistent customer identifier when contacts are created from more than one integration. This reduces duplicate customer records and fragmented wallet history.

Wallets and credit

The contact detail page shows the balances and ledger entries associated with that contact. Adding, spending, removing, or converting credit creates history; it does not replace earlier entries.

Delete a contact

Deleting a contact also removes the associated wallet and credit entries. This cannot be undone. Confirm you have selected the correct account and contact before deleting.
