What is ValueMapper MCP?​

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that enables AI assistants to connect with external data sources and tools. ValueMapper MCP allows AI tools like Claude, Cursor, VS Code, and Windsurf to interact with the ValueMapper platform.

With ValueMapper MCP, AI assistants can help users discover shops with active promotions, manage account settings, view promotions, and integrate loyalty program data into their workflows.

What can you do with ValueMapper MCP?​

Public Tools (No Authentication Required)​

  • Discover promotions — Find new shops with active promotions and rewards available through the Reward Wallet

Authenticated Tools (OAuth)​

  • Get account details — View your account information and connected services (Shopify, Tremendous)
  • Get promotions — List all promotions for your account with full details including rules, redemption channels, and discount information

When you first use an authenticated tool, your MCP client should prompt you to authenticate in the browser using OAuth. After approval, the client stores a token and subsequent requests are authenticated automatically.

If your MCP client does not support OAuth prompts yet, you can still authenticate by configuring an Authorization: Bearer <API_TOKEN> header manually.
